Patricia Koopersmith

Patricia Koopersmith

Patricia Koopersmith is founder and CEO of Rockwood Company, and an expert in government acquisition and leading and managing change programs, with deep experience partnering with the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. She has successfully worked with numerous organizations to identify strategic priorities, align organizations with strategy, establish governance models, redesign processes, develop acquisition strategies, and create and implement communications plans to overcome difficult challenges.

Patricia holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. She received her PMP in 2003, and also serves as an advisor to multiple companies in the DC area, regarding their strategies and business processes to add value to clients and maximize growth.

Julie Smith

Julie Smith

Julie Smith is Managing Director of Rockwood’s consulting practice. Julie leads Rockwood in its efforts to serve customers through exceptional delivery. She is a key contributor in the company strategy and operations. Julie has a track record of supporting both government and commercial clients to achieve results and has particular depth within the National Security arena. As a visual thinker and systems modeler, she brings creativity and process/logic thinking together to create innovative and unique solutions for clients.

Julie has an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Political Science and Business from Washington University in St. Louis. She has held a PMP certification since 2013. Julie also received a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in March 2017. Julie serves as a guest lecturer on Organizational Development for both the National Defense University and the University of Maryland.

Adrienne Gizicki

Adrienne Gizicki

Adrienne Gizicki earned her BA from The George Washington University and is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC). She has conceived and implemented a wide range of strategic communications plans for a variety of Federal agencies and Fortune 500 companies alike. Adrienne serves as a strategic advisor to her clients and coaches, mentors, and trains her teams. She lives in Washington, DC and enjoys sending her nieces and nephews extremely loud and/or large gifts to the consternation of their parents.
Cate Gregory

Cate Gregory

Cate Gregory has a BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and completed postgraduate studies in Leadership Coaching at Georgetown University. An executive coach, management and strategy consultant, speaker, and workshop leader, Cate has over 20 years of experience in outfitting clients to take on their most complex and daunting challenges. She combines intellectual curiosity, empathetic listening and an action-oriented approach to assist clients in shifting mindsets and behaviors to achieve tangible results.  When not working with clients, you can find her listening to a book on tape while hiking with her Labrador retriever, George.
Norm Kaufmann

Norm Kaufmann

Norm Kaufmann has both an MBA and a master’s degree from Georgetown University, and a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College. He is skilled in operations, business strategy, project management, project valuation, and viability for energy research. Norm has supported engagements ranging from new technology commercialization to software design, advising clients across the private sector, academia, and the federal government. He is also a former college soccer player and taekwondo competitor.  
Cristin Kumar

Cristin Kumar

A native of Washington, D.C., Cristin Kumar brings extensive experience in public policy research, development, and analysis. Cristin draws on her experiences in the non-profit sector and Capitol Hill, where she led early education policy for the House Committee on Education and the Workforce and ushered multi-million dollar program authorizations into federal law.

Cristin earned her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and Master of Education from Harvard University. When not supporting client work, Cristin is busy keeping up with her sons and two badly behaved dogs.  

Jarrod Latshaw

Jarrod Latshaw

Jarrod Latshaw has an undergraduate degree from Penn State University and is currently pursuing an MBA at Duke University. Jarrod joins Rockwood with a unique perspective drawing on experiences from the private sector, working as an advisor for a congressman on the House Committee on Ways and Means, and having served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. When not contributing to client projects, Jarrod enjoys long-distance running in Northern Virginia and following Philadelphia sports teams.
Joy Papini

Joy Papini

Joy Papini has a PhD in Organizational Psychology from the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management and has been providing consulting services to Federal and commercial sector clients for over 20 years. As an experienced human capital practitioner, Dr. Papini assists clients in creating high performing organizations by designing and delivering customized solutions that meet their needs. She utilizes her experience as a researcher to offer data-focused approaches in her client engagements to drive results and measure impact. As the president of CIDIS, LLC, Dr. Papini frequently supports Rockwood Company to offer specialized human capital and organizational development expertise to their clients. She holds memberships with the Society for Human Resource Management, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the US Women’s Chamber of Commerce.  She also serves as a co-chair for the Management Consulting Collective, a local Management Consulting networking group.

Tiffany Rose Powell

Tiffany Rose Powell

Tiffany Rose graduated from Syracuse University and has received specific training in research methods, ethics, and conflict resolution. She specializes in research, project management, and event coordination, and enjoys contributing across the entire organization. Outside of work, Tiffany Rose volunteers with several military veteran nonprofits, and is passionate about human rights and security issues in Eastern and Southern Africa.
Tammy Sehn

Tammy Sehn

Tammy Sehn earned a bachelor’s degree at Hartwick College and a master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University. Her background includes almost 20 years of experience in corporate executive leadership, program and project management, proposal planning and management, and resource management. Tammy’s strong technical understanding and analytical skills help Rockwood navigate critical challenges and prevent wasted resources and financial loss. When not leading contracts and operations initiatives, she supports her family’s maple syrup business and her husband and son’s car racing activities.
Kasey Simmons

Kasey Simmons

Kasey Simmons is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she studied business administration. Kasey’s extensive experience in both operations and strategic consulting is key to solving clients’ complex problems. Kasey enjoys working every day to help organizations reach untapped technical know-how and results. When not assisting Rockwood’s growing customer base, Kasey is passionate about health and fitness.
Jessica Wilson

Jessica Wilson

Jessica is a graduate of Emory University where she studied Finance, Organizational Management, and Business Law. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), she partners with Rockwood clients from project scope to proposal writing, and relationship management to delivery. When she’s not engaging with the breadth of Rockwood’s client base, she enjoys the world of fitness and nutrition coaching.
Sarah Spinella

Sarah Spinella

Sarah Spinella has an undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University and is currently pursuing both an MBA at Pepperdine University and an MSF at Georgetown University. She has a background in management information systems and data monitoring and evaluation, having worked in both the private sector and nonprofit organizations. She also enjoys traveling and understanding other cultures at a deeper level, and she has worked in both Shanghai, China and Florence, Italy. 

Mary Storholm

Mary Storholm

Mary Storholm is a graduate of Syracuse University where she studied Public Affairs and Women’s and Gender Studies. She specializes in policy research, event coordination and event facilitation, but thrives when supporting in new areas. Mary loves Rockwood’s dedication to helping organizations maximize their own capabilities to reach long-term goals. Outside of work, Mary enjoys reading the latest best-selling book, practicing yoga, and trying new recipes.

Ashley Tracas

Ashley Tracas

Ashley received her Master’s Degree from San Diego State University and her Undergraduate Degree from The University of Arizona. She specializes in managing client relationships, as well as task and project management. On a daily basis, Ashley loves that Rockwood provides a sense of ownership and responsibility through her projects which enables her to continually develop as a professional. When she’s not hands-on with a client engagement, she is traveling the world and enjoying local cuisines.
